Lecture father John Behr on January 18th

On Saturday January 18th, Father John Behr gave a public lecture on the Council of Nicaea, which took place 1700 years ago this year. As we have come to expect from Fr John, he didn’t just give a simple overview of the council, but explored the theological and ecclesiastical background in depth. In the fourth century, representatives of the various ecclesial communities were able to meet without fear of persecution. Of all these gatherings, why was this council considered so important in later times?

It was a thought-provoking lecture, and a nice start of this “Nicaea year”, with over 60 attendees.

Following the lecture we had the opportunity to hand out a few more certificates to students who finished the Pre-Master’s programme. Once again our congratulations!
