On Monday September 2nd, we gathered on the campus in Nijmegen for the kick-off of the new academic year. This year we have 21 new students: a record number! Most were able to be present in person. Some took part on-line; one student even all the way from Jordan, where she is doing an internship.
After getting to know each other, we looked how our teaching format of ‘blended learning’ works in practice. After a quick tour of the campus, our faculty librarian showed the physical and digital resources at our disposal and —a crucial aspect—how to find books and articles. This week the courses Orthodox History 1 (teacher Fr Joan Lena) and Orthodox Scripture (teacher Fr John Behr) have started.
