In the year 2025 it will be 1700 years since the first Ecumenical Council in Nicaea. This council was of the utmost importance to the christian church.
On Saturday, January 18th 2025, at 1PM Fr John Behr will give a lecture about The Significance of Nicaea:
The Council of Nicaea in 325 was a truly significant event, and the creed that it produced remains as perhaps the one remaining thread holding together Christians worldwide. On its 1700th anniversary, Fr John Behr will consider its significance for us today.
