On Saturday October 25th Father John Behr gave a lecture on his most recently published book, In Accordance with the Scriptures<\/em>. (see for the blurb the publisher\u2019s website). Much of his previous work comes together in this book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a busy afternoon despite the Dutch autumn weather, with especially many young people. The lecture was, as one of them said, “mindblowing!” Father John managed to completely invert our presuppositions about “The Bible”, and he gave us more than enough to keep mulling over for the rest of the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Coptic-Orthodox church hosted us in Utrecht. We’re very grateful to everyone who helped with the organisation and support! As a token of our gratitude for the hospitality we were able to give the parish (represented by deacon Peter Mikhail) a copy of De Psalmen van de Vroege Kerk<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
