The theme was trauma and healing. One of the speakers was the rector of the St Irenaeus, Father Michael Bakker. His contribution was entitled &#8216;Liturgical healing in Orthodox practice: a reflection&#8217; (Liturgische heling in de Orthodoxe Praktijk: een beschouwing). Fr Michael analysed a recent case study and explored trauma in Orthodox spiritual care.&#13;\n&#13;\n<\/p>\n\n<p>The second speaker was chaplain Sanneke Brouwers who spoke about her work as a spiritual caregiver in the Dutch armed forces.
